IONIA, Phokaia, electrum sixth stater or hekte, (c.440-430 B.C.), (Bodenstedt indicates 438 B.C.), (2.47 g), obv. head of Pan to left, with horn, rev. incuse square quartered, (Bodenstedt 73 [p.149, Pl.7, 47, reports 3 specimens known from only 2 obverse dies and 3 reverse dies, these dies being obv. b, rev. **g*], SNG von Aulock 7950 [same dies]). Very fine and very rare.

Type known from various similar types with only 2 obverse and 3 reverse dies. One specimen noted by Bodenstedt from these dies.
